The benchmark catalog
The public benchmark data Verity is validated against — bullet lands, cartridge breech faces, and screwdriver tool marks — plus additional hosted reference data (the multi-instrument virtual kits) that backs no validation claim. Everything is normalized into one queryable catalog where every scan carries its SHA-256 content hash and a link back to its source. This is a live, read-only view of the hosted data.

Mirrored read-only from four open sources: NIST NBTRD scans (U.S. public domain; cite NIST/NBTRD), CSAFE-ISU cartridge-case scans (github.com/CSAFE-ISU/cartridgeCaseScans, CC BY 4.0), tmaRks screwdriver toolmarks (github.com/heike/tmaRks, MIT), and the CSAFE multi-instrument virtual kits (figshare, DOI 10.25380/iastate.30854414, CC BY 4.0). Content hashes pin each scan byte-for-byte; the same catalog powers Verity’s reproducible validation. X3P blob downloads are served separately and are not enabled on this public view.
